Meet Our Leaders

Scott EllsworthPresident

Scott brings more than 30 years of underground utility experience to the table. Prior to co-founding Line Tec in November 1998, Scott served as Utilities Supervisor II of Water in the Broward County Office of Environmental Services public works division. In his capacity as Supervisor, Scott was responsible for overseeing maintenance of the water systems throughout unincorporated Broward County.

Scott attended Purdue University and Indiana University. In addition, he holds a State of Florida Certified Underground Utilities Contractor License, a State of Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor License, and a State of Florida Backflow Technician Certification.

Mark AtkinsVice President

Mark also has more than 30 years experience in the underground utility industry. Prior to co-founding Line Tec, Inc. in November 1998, Mark worked with Scott as Utilities Supervisor II of Sewer in the Broward County Office of Environmental Services public works division. In his capacity as Supervisor, Mark was responsible for overseeing maintenance of the sewer systems throughout unincorporated Broward County.

Mark is a second generation waterworks specialist and has worked in industry-related fields since an early age. In addition to extensive knowledge in water, wastewater, and water / sewer televising, Mark also holds a State of Florida Backflow Technician Certification, a Trench Safety and Shoring Certification, and a Fire Hydrant and Gate Valve Operation and Maintenance Certification.
